Policies
We use the following shipping methods:
Carriers: United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service
and Common Carrier
Services: Priority Mail,
UPS Ground, 3 Day Select*, 2nd Day Air* and Next
Day Air*.
*Expedited shipping
services are additional, call customer service
for rate quote.
Terms of "Free Shipping" offer:
Commercial
Locations:
We will prepay
standard ground shipping charges on all
products to commercial addresses located
within the Continental United States.
Additional charges may apply if address is
located on an island, in a high crime area
or is considered to be in a remote
area by our carriers. If additional charges apply, we will
notify you by email or phone prior to
shipping your order.
Non-Commercial Locations:
We will prepay standard ground shipping
charges on all products, including
residential fiberglass and aluminum flag
poles, with the exception
of a $33.00 delivery charge on
all noted light, medium and commercial grade flag poles, to non-commercial addresses located within the
Continental United States. Additional
charges may apply if address is located on
an island, in a high crime area or is considered to be
in a remote
area by our carriers. If additional charges apply, we will
notify you by email or phone prior to
shipping your order.
Non-Commercial
locations include Residences, Churches,
Schools and any location that is not deemed
a commercial business location.
Alaska and Hawaii
Customers:
We regularly work
with customers in Alaska, Hawaii and in
other countries who wish to arrange their
own shipping from a given point in the
Continental United States to their finial
location. Please call us or email us for
more information.
Flag Pole
Orders:
Flag Poles, due to their
excessive length and relative light weight, are shipped
by common carrier. Our carriers
responsibility ends at the driveway or, if a
commercial location, the loading dock. Drivers
are not responsible for the loading or unloading
of freight, however, many drivers may assist
upon request.
Most carriers will not call prior
to delivery unless arranged in advance.
Additional charges may apply, depending on
carrier, if notification is
required up to 24 hours in advance. We have
found that most notification in advance requests are
often overlooked by the carriers.
Admiral Flag Poles, or our
carriers, can not
make any guarantees as to the time or day of
delivery. Deliveries are usually made in the
morning, but may arrive anytime during normal
business hours. Admiral will provide all
shipping information, including, delivering
terminal information upon shipping. This will
enable the receiver to check on shipment status
while in transit.
Locations in remote areas
may require special handling and may only be
deliverable on certain days of the week.
Customers Responsibilities WHEN TAKING DELIVERY OF A FLAG POLE:
Are carriers will require
an adult to be present to accept delivery. It is very important that
all items are inspected
for damage and that all
pieces (i.e. shaft, carton and foundation tube)
are accounted for. ANY DAMAGE OR MISSING
PIECES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE DRIVER AND NOTED
ON BILL OF LADING AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.
Admiral Flag Poles, Inc., and/or it's carriers,
cannot be held responsible for any damage or
shortage not noted on the Bill of Lading at the
time of delivery.
THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD
FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE! It is recommended that
the flag pole shaft is removed from the shipping
tube and inspected for concealed damage. If time
does not allow for removal of flag pole shaft
for inspection, then we recommend that the bill
of lading is noted as having possible concealed
damage.
Storage of Flag
Pole Shafts:
We ship our flag
poles in cardboard shipping tubes and we wrap
the shafts with craft paper to protect the
finish while in transit. Once received, the flag pole
must be stored indoors
and dry until it is time to set the flag pole to
prevent possible staining of the flag poles
finish.
If you are unable to store the flag pole indoors
and dry, then the flag pole must be removed from
the shipping tube, completely unwrapped and
elevated off the ground.
Tracking Your Order:
We are currently unable to provide automated
tracking information. However, if the order has
shipped you may
contact our customer service department at
1-800-783-7653 and they will be able to assist
you with tracking your packages.
