The flag of Paraguay consists of three horizontal stripes - the top stripe is red, the middle one white, and the bottom stripe is blue. In the middle of the Paraguay flag and white stripe there is an emblem. The front of the flag has the country's state coat of arms on it and the back has the country's Treasury Seal. The state arms on the front consist of a five pointed yellow star on a blue disc. Surrounding the star is an olive branch and a palm branch. On a circular band is the country's official name written in Spanish, Republic of Paraguay. The Treasury Seal on the reverse side shows a lion guarding the red Phrygian cap. Surmounting the seal is the Paraguayan national motto: 'Paz y Justica', which means 'Peace and Justice'
The flag of Peru consists of three equal sized vertical stripes - the left and right stripes are red and the middle one is white. Peru also has a state flag which incorporates the shield from the national coat of arms in the middle of the flag. Civil use flag.
The flag of the Philippines consists of two horizontal stripes and a white horizontal triangle on the left side of the flag facing the middle. The top stripe is blue and the bottom is red. In each corner of the triangle is a five pointed gold/yellow star. In the center of the triangle there is a large gold/yellow sun.
The flag of Portugal consists of two vertical stripes - the left stripe is green and the right one is a shade of red. The stripes are uneven as the green stripe takes up two fifths of the flag's length and the red stripe takes up the remaining three fifths. A coat of arms with the country's traditional shield is centered on the Portuguese flag where the two colors meet.

The flag of Slovakia consists of three equal-sized horizontal stripes. The top stripe is white, the middle is blue and the bottom stripe is red. Towards the left side of the Slovakian flag is the country's coat of arms, which is outlined in white. The coat of arms features a white patriarchal double cross on a red base with a blue triple mountain.
The flag of Slovenia consists of three equal sized horizontal stripes. The top stripe is white, the middle blue and the bottom stripe is red. In the upper left corner of the Slovenian flag, centered between the white and blue stripe, is the country's coat of arms which consists of the three-peaked Triglav Mountain, the highest mountain in Slovenia, and three yellow stars.
The flag of the Solomon Islands consists of a thin yellow diagonal stripe that separates the flag into two sections. The top portion is blue and the bottom section is green. In the blue section there are five white, five pointed stars arranged in an x pattern.
The flag of South Africa consists of two horizontal stripes of equal width - red on the top and blue on the bottom. The red and blue stripes are separated by a green middle stripe which is bordered in white and splits into a horizontal Y. On the left side of the flag there is a black isosceles triangle which is outlined in yellow.
The flag of South Korea consists of a white base. In the center of the flag is a blue and red circle, which is surrounded by four black trigrams, one in each corner.
The flag of Spain consists of three horizontal stripes. The top and bottom stripes are equal-sized and red; while the middle yellow stripe is double the size of the red stripes. Towards the left side of the yellow stripe is the country's coat of arms. The coat of arms consists of a crowned shield, quartered and guarded on each side by the crowned Pillars of Hercules - representing Gibraltar and Cueta. Each quarter displays badges of the original Spanish kingdoms. In the centre of the shield is the emblem of the reigning Spanish royal Family, House of Bourbon, which is a blue oval with a red-edged border containing three fleur de lies. At the bottom of the shield is a pomegranate representing Grenada. Wrapped around the pillars is a red scroll with the motto 'Plus Ultra' written on it. The flag of Sri Lanka consists of a yellow/orange base. A crimson colored rectangular section on the right side of the flag contains a yellow lion passant holding an upright sword and four yellow pipul leaves, one in each corner. On the left side of the flag there are two equal-sized vertical stripes, green and orange in color, that are also bordered by the flag's base
The flag of St. Kitts and Nevis consists of three diagonal stripes. The top stripe is green and the bottom stripe is red, and they are of equal size. In the middle of the flag there is a black stripe that is bordered on the top and bottom by a thin yellow stripe. Situated in the black stripe are two, white, five-pointed stars.

The flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines consists of three vertical stripes - the left stripe is blue and the right one is an equal sized green one. The middle stripe is yellow and is twice the size of the other stripes. In the center of the yellow stripe and the flag there are three green diamonds situated in a v pattern.
The flag of Sudan consists of three horizontal stripes - the top stripe is red, the middle is white and the bottom stripe is black. On the left side of the Sudan flag there is a horizontal green triangle pointing towards the middle.
The flag of Suriname consists of five horizontal stripes. The top and bottom stripes are green, the middle stripe is red and there is a white stripe above and below the red one. The two white stripes are equal in the width to the green stripe, and the two green stripes equal the width of the red stripe. In the center of the red stripe and the flag there is a yellow, five-point star.
The flag of Swaziland consists of four horizontal stripes - the top and bottom stripes are blue and the center stripe is red. The red stripe is bordered on the top and bottom by a thin yellow stripe. In the middle of the red stripe and the flag there is an emblem that consists of an ox hide combat shield from the traditional Swazi Emasotsha Regiment, as well as their assegais or spears, a Swazi fighting stick and three royal Swazi ornamental tassels called tinjobo, which are made from widow bird and loury feathers
The flag of Tajikistan consists of three horizontal stripes - the top stripe is red, the middle is white and the bottom stripe is green. The white stripe is double the size of the others. In the middle of the white stripe and flag there is a yellow/gold crown with seven, five-point stars over top of it.
The flag of Tanzania consists of five diagonal stripes. The top stripe is green, the bottom is an equal-sized blue stripe, and the middle stripe is black with a thin yellow stripe above and below it.

The flag of Uruguay consists of nine alternating stripes of equal width. There are five white stripes and four blue ones. The top and bottom stripes are white. In the top left corner of the flag there is a white square with a yellow/gold sun in its center that has 16 alternating straight and curvy waves.
The flag of Uzbekistan consists of three equal-sized horizontal stripes. The top stripe is light blue, the middle stripe is white, and the bottom stripe is light green. The white stripe is bordered above and below it by a thin red stripe. On the left side of the blue stripe there is a white crescent moon and 12, white, five-point stars situated in horizontal rows of ascending order.
The flag of Vanuatu is divided into three sections. There is a red horizontal stripe over top of a green one, and on the left side of the flag there is a yellow Y that runs through the middle of the flag. The Y is outlined in black with a black triangle filling in the Y. Inside the triangle there is an emblem of a boar's tusk with two fern leaves inside it.
The flag of Venezuela consists of three equal sized horizontal stripes - the top stripe is yellow, the middle blue, and the bottom stripe is red. In the middle of the blue stripe and flag there are seven, white, five-pointed stars that are arranged in a semi circle. The flag of Western Samoa consists of a red base with a blue square in the top left corner. There are five white, five-pointed stars on the blue representing the constellation the Southern Cross, which is a prominent constellation of the southern hemisphere.
The flag of Zambia consists of a green base. In the bottom right corner there are three equal-sized vertical stripes from left to right of red, black and orange. Above the stripes there is an orange eagle.
The flag of Zimbabwe consists of seven horizontal stripes of equal width. The middle stripe is black and there are stripes of red, green and yellow above and below the black stripe. On the left side of the Zimbabwe flag is a white horizontal triangle with a red, five-point star in it and on top of the star there is a yellow Great Zimbabwe bird.
The Aruba flag consists of a light blue colored base with two thin yellow vertical stripes across the lower third of the flag, and a four pointed red star with a white outline in the upper left corner.
The Bermudan flag consists of a red base with the British Union Jack in the top left hand corner. In the middle of the right side of the Bermudan flag, is the Bermudan coat of arms.
The flag of the British Virgin Islands consists of a dark blue base with the British Union Jack in the top left corner, and one of the country's badges on the right side of the flag. The badge consists of a green shield with 12 golden oil lamps with red flames and a female figure, St. Ursula, patron saint of the British Virgin Islands attired in white and wearing sandals, carrying one of those lamps. Beneath the shield there is a golden ribbon that says 'vigilate', which means be watchful.
The flag of the Cayman Islands consists of a navy blue base with a British Union Jack in the top left hand corner. On the right side of the flag, situated in the middle is the Cayman Island's coat of arms.
The flag of the Netherlands Antilles consists of a white base. In the center of the flag is a red vertical stripe with an equal-sized blue horizontal stripe crossing over top of it. In the blue stripe there are five, white, five-point stars which are placed in an oval pattern.
The flag of Wales consists of two horizontal halves - the top half is white and the bottom half is green. In the center of the Welsh flag is a red dragon. The exact representation of the dragon is not standardized and many different interpretations exist.
