Internal Halyard Flag Pole Trucks

Trucks built for internal halyard poles, where the rope or cable runs inside the shaft. Includes stationary cap styles, revolving trucks and integrated ball trucks.

Stationary, Revolving and Ball Trucks

Stationary cap style internal halyard trucks are stocked for 2 in., 2.5 in., 3 in. and 3.5 in. pole tops. Revolving trucks are available with ball bearings or sealed bearings, plus heavy duty and XL heavy duty versions for larger poles. Integrated ball trucks — where the ornament and truck are a single assembly — come in 8 in., 10 in., 12 in., 18 in. and 24 in.

Ball Bearing vs. Sealed Bearing

Both let the truck rotate so the flag weathervanes. Sealed bearings keep water and grit out of the race, which extends service life on coastal and dusty sites and on poles that are difficult to reach for maintenance.

Internal vs. External Trucks

Internal and external halyard trucks are not interchangeable — the internal version is built to pass the halyard down inside the shaft. Confirm which system your pole uses before ordering a replacement.
